who pays for their care?
here in the UK--anyone with no money is laughing--care home costs are paid for by the tax payer--ideal for most old dubs i would think, The retired person can have savings--up to about £25 ( i think) above that and they have to pay. Property also is taken in to consideration.
At this point greedy relatives rise to the surface.
My wife is the registered manager of a private 20 room care home.
if the current doctrine is that only baptised witnesses are going to survive and everyone else burns them what about this new update new light that some from before the flood and sodomites will be resurrected?.

i think the general idea is that leg overs--like transfusions, smoking, gambling. boozing etc will all be left to the sinners conscience.

it will end up like the Church of England. Millions of members--the vast majority state that as their religion if asked on a document--but havent been inside a church in their lives.
are the governing body really in charge or are they just a figurehead with the real power being behind the curtain .

in the 70's a bethel elder told me that every morning in the 60's the paint and scaffold crew, (which was located on the 5th floor of building 4) would go up to the roof and walk around the perimeter on top of the ledge, which i doubt was more than 12" wide.
then they'd go render sacred service to jehovah..

what i meant was--its too late--by many years--to try to build bridges with my family. Its their choice--not mine. But if i thought that me attending the occasional talk could smooth the way for them--i would give it a try.
Ive no interest in any religion--and the whole idea of life after death--or armageddon--is just laughable nonsense. Just stuff to encourage soldiers into battle.
I spent several years in the 70's attending some meetings to appease the wife. I hated every minute of it--i had already resigned to the elders. I was never d/f'd.
